Your faith can be restored when you gather with the Lord.
1. The Skepticism of the Disciple
1. The Skepticism of the Disciple
John 20:24-25
Thomas had followed Jesus for a few years, but did not want to believe the report from the other disciples.
The idea that Jesus was alive again seemed impossible to Thomas, and there were a couple of things that contributed to his skepticism.
a) Thomas' Distance
He wasn't at the gathering a week before. He missed out on seeing Jesus.
We have been a part for 12 weeks now, and
Being a part of a gathering of believers can cause someone to drift, lose hope, or fall away.
b) Thomas' Words
You've got to imagine that Thomas was aggravated at the constant report from the disciples.
His words in verse 25 are very bold.
"I will not believe."

a) Jesus Knew Thomas' Needs

The greatest need Thomas had was not to change the doubt to belief.
b) Jesus Spoke to Thomas
Place your hand into My side, and fingers into My hands.
"The wounds of Christ changed Thomas' heart." - Warren Wiersbe
